Community Involvement

We are proud to support Bridge2Peace, a school created for families living below the poverty line in a tsunami-affected area. Each year, we donate backpacks and school supplies to help provide children with the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Each Thanksgiving, we come together as a school community to collect nonperishable food items. These donations are shared with a local church food pantry to help support families in need during the holiday season. It’s a wonderful way for our students and families to experience the joy of giving and the importance of caring for our community.

Each holiday season, we proudly support Toys for Tots by collecting new, unwrapped toys. With the help of our families, we bring joy to children in need and share the true spirit of giving.

the Arts Program (HEART) through our student art auction. Families can purchase their child’s individual art canvas and bid on classroom murals, with all proceeds benefiting HEART. This program provides psychosocial support to children, youth, and adults around the world through expressive arts like drawing, painting, music, and drama. By participating, our school community helps bring healing, creativity, and hope to others globally.

Each year, we proudly support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through a special fundraising event with our students and families. Our little ones take part in a fun bike triathlon right in our parking lot, where they also learn about the importance of bike safety. Together with our families, we raise funds and donate 100% of the proceeds to St. Jude, helping to make a difference for children and families in need.

We are honored to partner with the Christopher Walter Mizdol Foundation in memory of one of our former students. The foundation provides financial assistance to families with children facing long-term illnesses, offering support during some of their most challenging times. Through this partnership, we hope to help strengthen and empower both children and their families when they need it most.

Each October, we come together to wear pink in support of breast cancer education and awareness. We also encourage our families and teachers to join us in participating in a local breast cancer walk. It’s a meaningful way for our school community to stand together, raise awareness, and show support for those affected.

We are proud to support our local fire and police departments and regularly welcome them into our school. During their visits, they teach our students about their important roles in keeping our community safe and give the children a chance to learn, ask questions, and build trust with our local heroes.
