Our History

Founded in 2017, My Little University was built on family values and a shared passion for early childhood education. As a family-owned preschool, our onsite owners are deeply committed to creating a nurturing, high-quality learning environment where every child feels like part of our extended family. Each milestone our students reach is celebrated as if it were our own, and every family who joins us becomes part of the heart of our school.

Our Mission Statement

At My Little University, our mission is to nurture the whole child by providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and learning is joyful. We are dedicated to fostering each child's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development through play-based experiences that build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Together with families, we strive to create a diverse and inclusive community that empowers every child to reach their fullest potential.

Our Accreditations

Our school is licensed by the state of New Jersey and adheres to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and academics. My Little University is proudly recognized as a 5-Star Quality Rated Center by Grow NJ Kids, New Jersey’s state-sponsored Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS). We are honored to be the first and only center in Bergen County to achieve a 5-star rating, the first private center in the state to earn 5 stars on our very first rating, and one of only 13 centers statewide to hold this distinction. Grow NJ Kids is a statewide initiative designed to raise the quality of childcare and early education programs by providing schools with resources for self-assessment, coaching, professional development, and a star rating system that helps parents identify high-quality early learning environments. This collaborative effort, led by the New Jersey Departments of Children and Families, Education, Health, and Human Services, empowers families to make informed choices about their child’s education.
