Our History

The History of My Little University

Founded in 2017, My Little University was built on family values and a shared passion for early childhood education. As a family-owned preschool, our onsite owners are deeply committed to creating a nurturing, high-quality learning environment where every child feels like part of our extended family. Each milestone our students reach is celebrated as if it were our own, and every family who joins us becomes part of the heart of our school.

Today, our center is proudly led by Ms. Sandra, who works alongside her sister, Ms. Elizabeth, and her daughter, Ms. Mia—with her youngest daughter also pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education to one day join the family business. Together, they have guided My Little University through growth, challenges, and incredible achievements.

We are especially grateful to the families who trusted us during difficult times, including the COVID-19 pandemic, when we remained open to serve first responders and provide stability for our community and staff. That same resilience and commitment to growth is reflected in our 5-star rating from Grow NJ Kids—not as a finish line, but as a marker of progress that motivates us to keep moving forward.

Over the years, we’ve proudly integrated ourselves into the local community through frequent service projects and participation in neighborhood events. As a close-knit school, we take pride in building strong relationships with our families, offering personalized care, and honoring the trust placed in us.
